03/08/10 - 229.9 lbs (-3.1 total)

2 pound loss from last week!!! I'm a happy camper. :) Well, kinda sorta. I'm still being too hard on myself. I don't feel like I really did much last week to try to eat better, but I do know that I'm accomplishing small goals. My water intake is now up to about 64 ounces per day - I only missed 1 day in the last week (got 32 ounces in that day), so I feel like that's an accomplishment. I can tell that my body really starts craving the water when I'm thirsty instead of other drinks. So, that's an accomplishment.

Another is that I've stuck with the 30 day challenge. I have a week to go. Next Monday, 03/15, is my last day for the 30 day challenge on low intensity. I'm not sure what my plans are after that. I do what to do the medium and high intensities - but I also want to try them with the Wii Balance board as well, to see what the differences are in the workouts. Then, of course, once I'm done with all that, I want to buy the new EA Sport Active More Workouts. So, I have quite a few things planned for myself - not sure what I'll do when I finally get through with all that - but that's for another day. My victory is that I've actually been staying with my exercise plan and I've never done that with such determination before. Never.

So, now I need to figure out how to stop being so hard on myself. I'm making progress - and at a good pace. Maybe I'm just so used to not trying like I've been doing for what seems like forever. I know that I AM trying now - So maybe I just need to have more faith in myself that I'm going the right direction. :) ...being a perfectionist stinks sometimes! :)

Good for you! This is the first time in my life that I have really made excercise a priority and it is making SUCH a big difference! So glad you are too. I need to better with the water like you. Do you drink it by the glass, bottles or a big container??

I actually drink it by using a big 32 oz container. I think I would go nuts if I drank it by the glass or bottles... lol At work I have one and I usually get through that one during the work day. Then, I try to immediately fill up the one I have at home and just carry it around with me. Right now it's pushing it for me to get past 64 ounces, but I've done it a few times. I'm so ready to stop having to visit the bathroom so much! That can be quite awkward at work....they're probably like, didn't you just go??? lol And, at first it was hard to get the 32 ounces - now 32 is no problem and it's hard to get the 64 ounces. So I suspect if I keep going this rate, at some point 64 will be no problem and it'll be hard to get the 96 ounces - from what I've read, that's my stopping point. I hope it's right! Good luck with adding the water to your routine - you can do it!!! :)
