Planning/Goals

My plan to keep myself accountable:
  • Figure out what day to start Slim in 6.  
    • Began Slim in 6 on Thursday, April 21, 2011.
  • Take my "before" picture. 
    • Took pictures on Thursday, April 21, 2011.
  • Take my "before" measurements. 
    • Took measurements on Friday, April 22, 2011.
  • Get into a good habit of writing weekly meal plans.  (Ongoing)
  • Start planning for healthier options if budget allows.  (Ongoing)
  • Count calories.  
    •  Using http://www.loseit.com/ to track as of Saturday, April 23, 2011.  Daily calorie budget: 1,438 
    • Calorie budget changed to 1,587 after emailing a dietitian through my insurance.
  • Measure my food portions.  (Ongoing)
  •  Get 'Faithfully Fit' on my Kindle.  Read this every day to coincide with Slim in 6 to help gear my mind to better thinking and thinking more often with God in mind. A year has proven that I can't do this with my own strength.  
    • Began Faithfully Fit on Thursday, April 21, 2011.
    • Update 5/13 - Have not been constant with reading this.  Read for 4 days straight, and haven't since.  Today I'm starting week 4 of Slim in 6.  I will pick up where I left off in Faithfully Fit.
  • Update my blog to coincide with both Slim in 6 and Faithfully Fit. Will track measurements, weight, water consumption, and journaling/blogging that will probably be encouraged with Faithfully Fit. 
    • Blog updated and organized - possibly ongoing as things change.
Week 1:
  • I would feel much more comfortable in my own skin if I lost some of this excess weight.
  • I feel much better, physically, when I am consistent with my exercise.
  • I want to be in better shape when Chris and I have our first baby.
